The Practicing Perfection® Approach

A DIFFERENT set of rules…

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Performance has nothing to do with the cost or pervasiveness of databases, metrics, dashboards, or glitzy displays of KPIs.  It has little correlation to titles, bonuses, or the breadth of policies and procedures lining operational shelves.

While a systematic approach to improvement is essential, performance itself has everything to do with…people.

Our acute focus on Leadership- upon Reliability, Efficiency, Productivity and Safety (REPS), has led us to identify four essential elements of next-level performance.  These are the skills and insights we teach and grow in our training and implementation assistance- Proactive Accountability®, Tools, Engagement, and Learning.

“Every attempt to influence is a transaction. And in order for any transaction to be sustainable, both parties must profit.”

-Tim Autrey, author 6-Hour Safety Culture

OUR METHODOLOGY

Training, even with rave reviews, adds little value without commensurate improvement in performance.

By expanding context and leveraging basic human nature, our training and implementation approach generates immediate changes in behavior- born and sustained from a core of personal desire.

TRAIN CHOICES AND BEHAVIORS- NOT OUTCOMES

Our courses are designed and facilitated to integrate personal desire with corporate principles and objectives. Through follow-up instruction and guided practice, team members adopt and grow behaviors needed to achieve desired results.

USE THE FOUR-PART HU FACTOR® MODEL

We directly leverage the “different rules” of human behavior through the systematic approach of Proactive Accountability®, Tools, Engagement, and [organizational] Learning.

EMPLOY C.A.N.I

In addition to ongoing interjection of energy and leadership reinforcement, best-of-the-best practices are continually incorporated and communicated to avoid plateaus or dips in performance.

OUR RESULTS

“The PPI material laces human behavior and psychology together with human performance improvement processes and human error reduction techniques, and wraps them all up as one package.”
